Host Keypad Commands
To make yourself a Host during a conference call, press *3 on your keypad. (You will be prompted to enter your 4-digit Host PIN.)
Keys in blue are also available to non-Hosts.

Make Host or Start Conference
×If you are not a Host, pressing *3 will prompt you to enter the Host PIN to make yourself a Host.
If you are already a Host and the Conference Start setting is “When Host Confirms”, pressing *3 will start the conference.
Conference Modes
×Presentation Mode: Participants are muted (except Hosts), and cannot un-mute themselves.
Conversation Mode: All participants are un-muted.
Q&A Mode: Participants start muted (except Hosts), but can un-mute themselves by pressing *6.
Hosts Only Mode: Hosts speak privately. Other participants are placed on hold.
Select Next
×Selects and un-mutes the next caller in the Raised Hand queue, and re-mutes the prior selected caller.
Raised Hand Count
×Private announcement of the number of raised hands in the conference.
Lower All Hands
×Lowers all raised hands in the conference. Participants will hear an announcement, "Your hand has been lowered."
Raise Your Hand
×Callers who raise their hand are placed in queue, allowing a Host to un-mute one caller at a time. Place conference in Presentation Mode for best results.
Restore Alerts
×*79 restores the Entry and Exit alerts to the default settings. Alternatively, *71 turns on Entry Chimes and *81 turns on Exit Chimes.
Subconference Movement
×*84 moves you into a subconference. You are prompted to enter a subconference number, so make sure others know which number to enter in order to join a particular subconference. Any numeric value can be used as a subconference number.
*85 moves you from the subconference into the Main Conference. This does not affect other partcipants.
Speaking Volume Adjustment
×If other participants report that your volume is low, you may press *86 multiple times to incrementally increase your speaking volume. Press *87 to incrementally reduce your speaking volume.
Listening Volume Adjustment
×If you have trouble hearing other parties in the conference, you may press *88 multiple times to incrementally increase your listening volume. Press *89 to incrementally reduce your listening volume. This does not affect other participants in the conference.
One-Party Active Conference
×Starts the conference without waiting for other participants to arrive. If enabled, this also starts the recording.
This command is useful for recording a lecture or sermon. (Normally, active conferences require at least two participants, and only active conferences can be recorded.)
This command also prevents the conference from becoming inactive when there is only one party left in the conference (normally, hold music would start playing to the last remaining party).
Closing Subconferences
×*93 moves all parties in your current subconference back to the Main Conference. This command is only valid while you are in a subconfernce, and does not affect other subconferences in progress.
*94 moves all parties from all active subconferences back to the Main Conference, thereby closing all active subconferences. This command is only valid when you are in the Main Conference. If you are presently in a subconference, you must move to the Main Conference in order to use this command. You can press *85 to move from a subconference back to the Main Conference, then press *94 to close all subconferences.
Dial Out to Participant
×Prompts you to enter the phone number of the party to invite into the conference. After entering the phone number, you will be returned to the conference while the system initiates the call to the dialed party. If the call is answered, the invitee will hear, “You have been invited to join a conference call. To join the conference, press one.”
Announce Count and Roll Call
×Private announcement that plays the count of active participants, plus the list of recorded names for participants (if the Prompt for Name feature is enabled). This command is not available to non-hosts if the conference in Presentation Mode or Question & Answer Mode.
